Swansea Service Changes from 5th September 2022August 23, 2022 12:37 pm
From 5th September 2022, there will be changes to our Swansea bus services.
Service 19 (Swansea City Centre to Brymill & Uplands)
The 1710 journey from Swansea Bus Station to Brymill/Uplands and back is withdrawn but will be replaced outbound by the 1715 service 37 to Oystermouth which will operate via Brynmill instead.
Service 22 (Swansea City Centre to Three Crosses)
The 1500 journey from Swansea Bus Station and 1541 journey from Three Crosses will operate 1 hour later at 1600 and 1641 respectively. The 1641 journey from Three Crosses will not operate via Tycoch, instead running direct along Gower Road between Killay and Sketty.
Service 37 (Swansea City Centre to Oystermouth)
The 1715 journey from Swansea Bus Station will operate via Oxford Street and Brynmill to Uplands Square instead of via Christina Street, Mansel Street and Walter Road, replacing the 1710 journey service 19. Please note that customers at Uplands Square on this journey will need to board the service around the corner at Gwydr Square, by the mini roundabout.
Service X6C (Clydach to Graig Felen & Craig Cefn Parc)
This service will operate 2 minutes later on all journeys except the 0803 Saturdays and school holidays journey from Graig Felen. This is to improve connections with service X6 from Swansea.
School Service S92 (Grenfell Park to Cefn Hengoed Community School)
South Wales Transport will be operating the Grenfell Park to Cefn Hengoed Community School bus service as number S92, previously operated by Briggs Coaches as number 592. Times will remain the same, at 0800 from Grenfell Park and 0805 from St Thomas Church, Delhi Street. Fares will also remain at £1.00 per single journey. This will continue to be operated as a bus service with standing capacity.
