Fares and Tickets
All of our fare structure is based upon the Adult Single fare. We offer a range of value for money tickets which are listed below.
- Weekly Tickets - These offer unlimited travel on all of our services until the last of our services 7 days after purchase (for example, if bought at 10am on a Tuesday will expire after our last service on the following Monday).
- Day Rider Tickets - Offering exceptional value for money, these tickets enable unlimited travel on all of our services until the last of our services on the day of purchase.
- Return Tickets - Available at a discount compared to 2 single journeys. These are only valid on the day of issue.
- Family Tickets - These allow a family of up to four (maximum of 2 adults) unlimited travel on all of our services until the last of our services on the day of purchase.
- Child Fares - Available for all minors under the age of 16, offering a discounted fare.
- Younger Children - Children under 6 years old may travel free of charge, as long as they are not occupying a seat to the disadvantage of a fare paying passenger.
- Welsh Concessionary Passes - All Wales concessionary passes are welcome for free travel on all of our services. Please have your pass ready when you board the bus and place the pass on top of the ticket machine with the photograph showing, so that the driver can validate your pass. If you do not present your pass or it is invalid for any reason you will be asked to pay the standard fare for the journey you are undertaking which will be non-refundable.
- £1 Value Added Tickets - For your convenience, on the presentation of any other operators’ ticket (including Neath Port Talbot College passes and Unibus tickets) you may take a single journey on any of our fare paying services for a fixed fare of £1.
Acceptance of other operators' tickets
We will only accept other operators' tickets on service 66, for travel ONLY between Goytre and Port Talbot Bus Station, and between Maes Ty Canol and Swansea City Bus Station. They are NOT accepted for travel between Maes Ty Canol and Port Talbot Bus Station. This section of route is commerically operated and journeys over this section must be paid for either by the correct fare, presentation of a valid concessionary pass or the purchase of an Added Value Ticket.
